Our team was thrilled to take part in Zambrero’s annual Plate 4 Plate Day this year — and what a day it was! The atmosphere was buzzing, the food was plentiful, and the beats were pumping thanks to an awesome on-site DJ who kept everyone energised throughout the event.
A Day of Fun with a Purpose
Plate 4 Plate Day is about more than just delicious food — it’s about giving back. Founded by Dr Sam Prince, the initiative aims to help end world hunger by bringing together volunteers to pack meals for communities most in need. Thanks to the support of relief partners, more than 90 million meals have already been distributed worldwide.
With over 733 million people affected by hunger every day, Plate 4 Plate Day serves as a powerful reminder that small actions, when shared across a community, can create a truly global impact.
For The Lottery Office team, it was the perfect way to combine a good cause with great company and a lot of fun. Supporting a brand that shares our values of giving back and community connection made the day even more meaningful.
Great Vibes All Around
From the moment we arrived, the energy was infectious. The DJ kept the tunes flowing, adding a lively soundtrack as volunteers helped to pack meals. Held across 8 locations nationally, the end results will be 1 million meals packed and ready to transport to those in need.
There were plenty of laughs, some friendly competition and a few impromptu dance moves from our team when the beats dropped!
